Victoria Keyes, 77, of Saginaw, Michigan, died peacefully in her sleep on July 1, 2024. She was born a coal miner's daughter on January 7, 1947, in Ameagle, West Virginia, to Sherman Massey (1913 to 1972) and Shirley Caldwell (1927 to 2009). She resided in Dorothy until she moved to Saginaw, Michigan.
Vicki married Gene Keyes in 1965 and went on to have three children: Kelley, Jodi and Scott. She became a grandmother to Laurel in 1993 and then Emma in 2002. Additionally she was a great-grandmother to Wyatt and Logan. They kept her busy and she loved every minute of it. Vicki was of the Presbyterian faith and loved her church. She will be fondly remembered and sadly missed, especially her deviled eggs!
Vicki was predeceased by her husband Gene, who passed in 1998, and her daughter Kelley, who left us in 2002.
She is survived by her daughter, Jodi (Kevin) Bailey and her son, Scott Keyes. Also surviving are son-in-law, Jim Koski, a brother-in-law, two sisters-in-law and a slew of nieces and nephews. Her best friend of 60 years, Geri Marcoux, also survives her.
Honoring Vicki's wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. July 11, 2024 at First Presbyterian Church, 121 S. Harrison St., Saginaw, Rev. Ted McCulloch and Rev. Dr. Robert Emrich will officiate. Burial of cremated remains will take place at Oakwood Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Road, Saginaw, MI 48603.
