Beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at Saginaw Senior Care, at the age of 77 years.
The son of the late Richard and Maxine (O'Rourke) Princinsky, Tom was born on October 14, 1948, in Owosso, MI. He graduated from Chesaning High School, class of 1967. Tom was united in marriage to Ms. Gail Handley on Wednesday, July 24, 1968, in Chesaning, Michigan; she predeceased him on December 19, 2025. Tom proudly served in the United States Army in Vietnam in the 25th Infantry Division in 1968 and 1969. He retired from Peet Packing and later worked as a commercial sales rep for Ken's RediMix in Clio, MI. Tom enjoyed spending time on the lake with his family.
Tom is survived by two sons: Jeffery Thomas Princinsky and wife Vicki of Oakley, Michigan and Thomas Jay Princinsky and wife Melissa of Owosso, six grandchildren: Seth Princinsky, Maryjo Persicke and husband Jake, Kaylynn Henige and husband Brendan, Samuel Princinsky, Blake Princinsky and Marlee Princinsky, one great-grandchild due in June; a sister Cathy Gross and husband Tom of Chesaning; two sisters-in-law: Maeann Frederick of St. Petersburg, Florida and Bernice Leslie and husband Robin of Owosso; one brothers-in-law, Howard Handley and wife Debbie of Harrison and Leonard Morse of DeWitt, Michigan, plus many loving nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Along with his parents, Tom was predeceased by two sisters-in-law: Nina and Nancy, and brothers-in-law Gerald Handley and Roger Frederick.
Honoring Tom's wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass honoring both Tom and Gail will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at St. Peter Catholic Church, 404 S Wood St., Chesaning, MI 48616, with visitation at the church from 10:00 am until the time of Mass at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider Heartland Hospice.
