Beloved daughter, sister, aunt, granddaughter, and friend went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 28, 2026, at the age of 38 years.

The daughter of Juan and Vieonca (Rosas) Delgado, Jr. was born on March 9, 1988 in Chula Vista, California, raised in Saginaw, Michigan. She graduated from Carrollton Schools, the class of 2006. Semantha then got her CNA certification and worked for MyMichigan Medical Centers. Semantha was one of a kind with a beautiful, unique soul. She enjoyed traveling, fashion (especially a signature lipstick), spending time with family and friends and was always the life of the party. Semantha loved comidas with siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Water was also important to Semantha, and she could always be found near it, whether it be at Grandpa John and Cathy’s pool or Higgins Lake.

Surviving besides her parents Juan and Vieonca are her siblings: Erica (Elvis) Machul, Ashley (Angelo) Delgado, Juan (Stephanie) Delgado III, Cecilia Delgado, Israel (Chelsa) Delgado, Marcel (Mariah) Delgado, her grandmothers: Catherine Delgado, Gloria Rosas, her nieces and nephews: Savannah, Elvis Jr., Ciara, Eric Jr., Juan IV, Nico, Johnny, Sandy, Paulina, Frank, Troy, Vieonca, Chloe, Emma, Cami, Angelina, Lilliah, Marcel II, Celenna, and a great-nephew on the way: Gionni, her uncles: Casmiro, Antonio, Franscisco, her aunt, Esperanza, special family members: A.J., Lori, Anthony, Rainah, Betty, Celia, Tina Rocha, special friends: Emily, Andrea, Tasha, Sylvia “Tita”, Val, and many other relatives, and dear friends. Semantha was predeceased by her grandfathers: Juan Delgado Sr., Frank Rosas, her nephew Israel Jr., her special cousin Santos “Nach” Cruz, and special friend Melissa Botello.

Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Pastor Julian Gonzalez will officiate with cremation to follow. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday from 2:00-8:00 p.m. with a vigil service at 5:30 p.m. officiated by her cousin, Pastor Augustine Delgado and then on Sunday from 12:00 noon until the time of the funeral service.
