Scott was born on September 10, 1983, in Saginaw, Michigan to Penny (Raymond) Strong and Gary Wenzel. He graduated from Merrill High School. A jack of all trades, Scott worked numerous jobs in various fields including agriculture, auto body repair, and home improvement being able to work on all aspects of home remodeling. He also had a wide array of interests and talents. Scott was an avid sports fan, cheering on the Detroit Lions and University of Michigan. He enjoyed working on model cars and and helping his dad work on race cars. Scott loved being outdoors, whether it was landscaping in the spring or snowmobile racing in the winter. Scott had a talent for welding and making his own unique pieces. As an artist, Scott loved creating and drawing characters, hoping to one day have his own comic strip. Music was central to Scott's life, especially, Pink Floyd, Metallica, and all the old rock legends. He enjoyed spending time with his cats, family and friends.
