Scott Thomas Shaver

Beloved son, brother, uncle and friend, passed away on October 25, 2025,at the age of 45 years. Scott was born on May 25, 1980, in Saginaw, MI, to Mary (Minnich) and the late Craig Shaver. Scott worked in produce at Meijer and enjoyed bonfires, and gardening. He loved sharing what he grew with family and friends. Scott was incredibly proud of his home, especially his kitchen where he could always be found cooking with his homegrown ingredients. Scott ardently took on the special role of primary caretaker for his grandmother, Jean Minnich. He will be lovingly remembered for his quick wit and easy going comebacks.

Scott is survived by his mother and step-father, Mary and James Spindler; his sister Amanda (Vera) Crisci; step-siblings: Jason (Emily) Spindler and Kaila (Austin) Pickens, step-sister in law Angel Spindler; nephew: Christopher Lamb, as well as a small circle of lifelong friends and coworkers.

Scott was preceded in death by his father Craig Shaver, grandparents James and Jean Minnich, and a step-brother Jeremy Spindler.
