Beloved sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, passed away on January 28, 2026, at Pine Haven Senior Assisted Living at the age of 85 years. The daughter of the late Alvin and Margie (Swarm) Pruitt, Myrna was born on December 15, 1940 in Saginaw, MI. After graduating from Hemlock High School she pursued a career as a hair stylist and graduated from beauty school in Saginaw. Myrna worked for many years at Empress Beauty Boutique. At the center of Myrna's life was her faith. She was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church, singing in the choir, assisting during funeral luncheons, serving as a member of the altar guild, and being a faithful helper at God's Helping Hands.

Myrna is survived by a brother, John (Janet) Pruitt, Midland, three nieces: Annette (Chris) Good, Ortonville, Tracey (Michael) Kushion, Hemlock, and Heather (Andrew) Appold, Gaylord; great-nieces and nephews, as well as many special cousins and friends.

Myrna was preceded in death by her parents and a sister-in-law Karen Pruitt.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at Zion Lutheran Church, 17927 Dice Rd., Hemlock, MI, 48626. Pastor Larry Warsinski will officiate. Friends may visit at the church Tuesday morning from 10:00 am until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you please consider memorials to the Zion Lutheran Church or God's Helping Hands.
