Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, February 7, 2026, in Saginaw, Michigan.

She was the daughter of the late Jack Reittenbach and Emma (Williams) O'Brien. Leona was born on October 13, 1934 in Vassar, Michigan. She graduated from Saginaw High School in 1952 along with her brother Rex Reittenbach. Leona Married Charles L. Turner on June 11, 1944, in Saginaw. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles, baby daughter Helen, son's Steven and Thomas, brother Rex, great grandson Matt, mother Emma and sister Sally.

Leona worked for the Elks Cluv #47 and LaCross Glass Company where she retired from. She was also the owner of Karen Lee Fabric where she sewed custom wedding dresses. She is survived by her two children: Karen (Matt) Reardon and Michael Turner; sister Patricia O'Brien, brother Jerry (Vicki) Reittenbach, sister-in-law Phyllis Reittenbach, grandchildren: Nicole and Chase Reardon, Starr Turner, Sarah (Jeff) Mannoia, and Melissa Turner; great grandchildren: Halie Turner, Hanna Mannoia, and Joey Mannoia.

Honoring Leona's wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, March 6, 2026, at Ascension Lutheran Church, 8695 Gratiot Road, Saginaw, MI 48609. Pastor Julie Bailey will officiate. Friends are welcome to visit with the family from 10:00 am until the time of service.
