Kay E. (Meyer) Mosher

Passed away on August 19, 2025, at Wellspring Lutheran Services at the age of 85 years. Kay was born on March 20, 1940, in Merrill, MI to the late Margie (Bucholz) Wudel and Herman Meyer. She graduated Valedictorian from Merrill High School, class of 1958. Kay married William C. Mosher on September 13, 1958; he predeceased her on April 13, 1996. In her spare time Kay enjoyed reading, gardening, being outside, and most of all spending time with her family. 

Surviving are her two children: Bill (Julie) Mosher and Tami Mosher; two grandchildren: Jeff (Sarina) Mosher and Tara (George) Patterson; three great-grandchildren: Joseph, Jacob, and Ellie Mosher; sister Shirley (Albert) Kopta, as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family. She had a special bond with her great-nephews, Travis Kopta and Jaxson Allman who brought her so much joy. 

Along with her husband and parents. Kay was predeceased by an infant daughter, Debbie Mosher, and an infant brother.

The family would like to express their gratitude and heartfelt thanks to the staff of The Roosevelt House in Hemlock, Wellspring Lutheran Assisted Living, and her medical team at Wellspring Lutheran Hospice. Each one of you have been a godsend to us these last few years. 

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, August 25, 2025, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 10020 East Monroe Road, Wheeler, Michigan 48662. Rev. Larry Warsinski will officiate. Friends and family will be received at the church Monday morning from 11:00 am until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider Immanuel Lutheran Church, Covenant Kids Foundation, or a local children’s charity of your choice.
