Beloved husband, father, and brother, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2025, Covenant Health Care – Harrison, with his family at his side. Age 79 years.

The son of the late Frederick and Irma (Walters) Rose, Fred was born on July 29, 1945, in Saginaw, Michigan. He graduated from Saginaw High School, with the class of 1963. Fred served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era until he was honorably discharged. Fred was a dedicated automotive enthusiast and businessman, whose journey began at his father's gas and service station. Here, he developed a passion for maintaining cars, which laid the foundation for his professional career. Alongside his brothers, he co-founded Rose Auto Supply and Rose Towing, contributing significantly to the automotive community. Through work, Fred met the love of his life, Deeann Johnson. They were married on March 25, 1983. She survives him. He was a member of Joy Church. Fred was known for his love of motorsports. His interests included not only owning and racing cars but also drag racing and circle track racing. In addition to his racing pursuits, he had a keen interest in restoring classic cars, a hobby that further highlighted his passion for the automotive world.

Surviving besides his wife, Deeann Rose; are their daughters and sons, Mandy (Joe) Scott, Frederick Rose Jr., Thomas Rose, Laurie Rose, David Rose, William Rose; brothers, John Rose, and David Rose. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
