On Thursday, November 14, 2024, Carol Jean (Beyersdorf) Kruger passed away peacefully at the age of 88. Carol was the oldest of three children born to Walter and Minnie (Bethke) Beyersdorf on December 11, 1935.
After graduation, Carol went on to study accounting at Michigan State University. While there she became a proud member of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority and played trumpet in the Michigan State Marching Band. Carol was a lifelong farmer and an avid supporter of the Saginaw County Fair, where she proudly displayed her flowers and antiques. In 2021 she was awarded a plaque in recognition of being an exhibitor for 70 years. A moment and honor she felt privileged.
Carol is survived by her son Christopher (Dawn) Kruger, her granddaughter Miranda Kruger, brothers Larry Beyersdorf and David (Anita) Beyersdorf.
She was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Minnie Beyersdorf, and sister-in-law Marilyn Beyersdorf.
Funeral service will be held at 11:30 am on Friday, November 22, 2024, at St. John Lutheran Church, 2290 Pretzer Rd, Hemlock, MI 48626. Rev. Philip Loescher will officiate with burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at W.L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 201 N. Miller Rd., Saginaw, MI 48609, as well as Friday morning at the church from 10:30 am until the time of service.
