Brian A. Jacques

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on June 21, 2025, at the age of 70 years. Brian was born on November 25, 1954, in Saginaw to the late Harvey and Beatrice (Braun) Jacques. He graduated from Arthur Hill High School. Brian married Brenda L. Burtch on July 25, 2002. He worked as a route carrier for the USPS, retiring after 35 years.

Brian enjoyed fishing, gardening, hanging out at Hubbard Lake with family and friends. He was also a collector of coins, Big Little Books, and old toys. Brian was a sports fanatic. He loved watching U of M football, playing fantasy football with his friends, and betting on sports. He also played softball for decades and was the captain of White's Bar and Big Bill's Bar team.

Brian is survived by his wife Brenda Jacques; two sons: Scott (Katrina) Jacques and Alexander (Amanda) Jacques; grandchildren: Jasmaine Bular, Case Mroczek, Jenna McKenzie, Madison Olivia, and Carlie Rose; great-grandchildren: Marilynn and Westin; sister Diane (David) Hagar, special nieces: Sara (Tyler) Miller and Tracy Hagar. Brian is also survived by many great friends, some that he even grew up with in Saginaw.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Syed Hassen and staff and to the nurses and staff at Mackinaw Infusion Center.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, June 27, 2025, at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Rd., Saginaw, MI 48603. Rev. Erik R. Schmidt will officiate with burial to follow in Chapel Hill Cemetery. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral chapel on Thursday, June 26, 2025, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm, as well as Friday from 10:00 am until the time of service.
