Obituary

Brenda D. Raymond

Saginaw, MI

Beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, friend, neighbor, and little lady bug passed away on May 16, 2026 at the age of 83 years.

The daughter of the late Albert Leiner and Irene (Taylor) Leiner, Brenda was born on February 7, 1943 in Saginaw, MI. Brenda married Kenneth Raymond on September 21, 1979; he predeceased her on December 18, 2007. She worked in the dry-cleaning business until her time of retirement, and was a seamstress out of passion. She enjoyed going to BINGO with her sisters, playing dice with family, doing puzzles with whomever would sit across from her, watching game shows, collecting knick-knacks, eating at Culver’s, and travelling with her son. She was the sweetest soul and anyone who ever met her felt it instantly. She had a warmth about her that made people feel safe, loved, and cared for.

Surviving is her son; Brian Raymond, sisters; Alberta Leiner, Arloa (Otto) Richter, Jackie Bricault, Dorothea Theaker, Shirley (George) Leiner, and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Besides her spouse and parents, she was predeceased by her sisters; Penny Leiner, Judy (Leiner) Smith, brothers; Albert Leiner and Jack Leiner, nephew; Brian Scott St. Denis, and brothers-in-law; Jim Bricault and William Theaker.

Cremation has taken place and in lieu of a traditional memorial service, the family will be arranging a private, informal celebration of life.

Arrangements were entrusted to W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Rd., Saginaw MI 48603. Please leave your thoughts and memories with the family at www.casefuneralhome.com
