Arlene Emma Bozung of Barryton, MI, formerly of Saginaw, MI, passed away on February 25, 2024. Age 85 years. 

Arlene was born on August 19, 1938, in Saginaw, MI, to the late Robert and Edna (Wendland) Dietrich. She married Jack Bozung and they made their home and raised their family in Saginaw before moving to Barryton in 1999. He predeceased her on February 11, 2015. Arlene loved crafting and making rugs on her loom, so much so that she made her own business out of rug weaving. She will be remembered as being very kind, always willing to help her neighbors. 

Arlene is survived by a daughter Lori (Bozung) Vargo and her husband Doug, a son Scot Bozung, grandson Jack Bozung, sisters: Carol (Dietrich) Knoll and her husband Ronald, Barbara (Dietrich) Fletcher, and Kathleen (Dietrich) Hoffmann and her husband George; sister-in-law Sharon Dietrich, as well as many nieces and nephews. Along with her husband she was predeceased by a brother, Robert Dietrich. 

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at W.L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 5700 Dixie Highway, Saginaw, MI 48601. Pastor Shawn Fenske will officiate with burial to follow at Buena Vista Township Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral chapel on Thursday from 9:00 am until the time of service.
