William "Joe" Haven of Tower, Michigan Passed away on Monday, September 23, 2019, at McLaren Hospital in Petoskey, Michigan at the age of 83 years. William "Joe" Haven was born on November 11, 1935 in Hemlock, Michigan to the late William and Ligouri (Mahoney) Haven. He married Nancy Wreggelsworth on March 2, 1957; she survives him. Joe proudly served his country with the United States Navy Reserve. He was employed with General Motors, retiring with many years of service. Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Nancy Haven; two children, Rebecca (Joseph) Haller; Sherrie Ahrns; seven grandchildren, Monica, William, Christopher, Sarah, Michael, Amber, Austin; three great-grandchildren; three brothers and two sister, Dan (Dorothy) Haven; Tom Haven; James (Shirley) Haven; Helen Laurenz; Liguori Moss. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Joe was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Mark Haven; one brother, Leo Haven; two sisters, Alice Osellame; Ilene Petre. A memorial visit will take place at on Sunday, September 29, 2019, at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to a charity of the donors choice.
