William Jaksa

William Jaksa, loving Husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on August 14, 2023, in Saginaw, Michigan. He was born on May 27, 1954. 

William had a fulfilling career and retired from Powell Fabrication & Manufacturing. His dedication and hard work were evident throughout his professional life. He made lasting impressions on his colleagues and will be remembered for his contribution to the industry.

Beyond his career achievements, William had a passion for stock car oval track racing and watching the Red Wings play. These hobbies brought him joy and allowed him to connect with others who shared his enthusiasm.

William was preceded in death by his parents Steve and Rose (Pierce) Jaksa, father in-law William Frost, as well as three brothers: Stephen Jaksa, Jim Jaksa, and Dave Jaksa. Their memories will forever be cherished in the hearts of those who knew them.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Janice Jaksa. Together they built a beautiful life filled with love and cherished memories. William was a devoted father to Jennifer (Jay) Campbell, Thomas Jaksa, Joseph (Trisha) Jaksa, and Amanda (Charles) MacDonald. His children were a source of pride and joy for him.

William was adored as a grandfather by five grandchildren: Kaila, Aaron, Crystal, Jadelynn, and Penelope. His love extended to three great-grandchildren: Gage, Victoria, and Zachary. Additionally, another great-grandson, Jeremiah, on the way who would have brought even more happiness to William's life.

He also leaves behind his brother Dan Jaksa along with many nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart.

Funeral service will take place 1:00 p.m. Friday August 25, 2023 at the W.L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel 201 N. Miller Road, Rev. Bill Thena will officiate with burial to follow in Owen Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a donation to U of M Medical Center or Henry Ford Detroit Hospital.
