William G. "Bill" Heiler

Heiler, William G. "Bill" Caro, Michigan Loving Husband, father, grandpa passed away on February 16, 2013 in Florida. Age 69 years. The son of the late Albert and Elsie (Berg) was born on December 17, 1943 in Saginaw. He served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam serving on the USS Essex. He retired from Delphi in 2001. He married Linda Brookins on November 21, 1981; she survives him. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion posts and a Past Commander and active member of Saginaw Bay Power Squadron. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, camping, and was a Disney Fan and especially spending time with family and friends. Surviving besides his wife, Linda are his children; Richard Heiler, Connie (Donald) Wellman, grandchildren; Cassie, Ericka, Abby Heiler and Jarrett, Jordan Wellman, mother-in-law Evelyn Brookins, sisters-in-law Cheryl Brookins and Debby (Tim) Trim, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers Jack Heiler and Ted Heiler, a father-in-law Robert Brookins, a step-father Roy Bartlett. The funeral service will take place at 11:00a.m.Saturday, February 23, 2013 at W. L. Case and Company, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Cindy Parsons will officiate with burial at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral chapel on Friday from 2:00-5:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. and on Saturday 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
