Our loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away on Friday, May 1, 2026. Age 79 years.
Bill was born on June 12, 1946, son of the late Basil and Alice (Horton) Glover, in Saginaw. He served 26 years in the United States Navy and was a member of American Legion Post #439. Bill married Barbara Sefcik on November 27, 1965. She survives him. He retired from U.S. Graphite after many years of dedicated service. Bill enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and camping with his family. He enjoyed attending NASCAR races with his son Bill. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bill was an amazing father and grandfather. He was very supportive of them and always showed up for school and sporting events.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Barb Glover; daughters, Peggy (Michael) Fisher and Michele (Guy) Gendron; son, Bill (Amber) Glover; grandchildren; Joshua Glover (Hannah Thorton), Jessica (Dylan) Allen, Greyson Gendron; great grandchildren, Luka Allen, Emmett Glover and Evelyn Allen. He was predeceased by his grandson, Jacob Hilbrandt.
Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
