Willard Earl Enszer

Enszer, Willard Earl Saginaw, MI Passed away Saturday, November 24, 2012, at Covenant-Cooper at the age of 95 years. Willard was born June 24, 1917, in Saginaw to the late Earl and Mabel (Janke) Enszer. He graduated from Arthur Hill High School in June of 1935. He served in the U.S. Air Force during WWII. He married Helen Zuellig on May 31, 1947, she predeceased him September 10, 2008. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Saginaw. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Saginaw, the National Association of Letter Carriers, Branch 74, and American Legion Post #439. He is survived by his son Gary Enszer of Saginaw; two daughters and a son-in-law, Kathy Aumend and Debbie and John Haiderer all of Saginaw; grandchildren, Jeff and Meghan Haiderer of Crowley, TX, Kristiana Aumend of Anderson, IN, and Mike Haiderer of the Azores; great-grandson, Levi Stonebarger Jr. of Anderson, IN; and sister Earldine (Neil) Foor of Midland. He was predeceased by his sisters, Eunice (Fred) Pond, Lila (Norman) Lehnhardt, Eileen (Peter) Feigley, Emma Jean (Dale) Kluck, Marjorie Enszer, and a brother Warren (Alberta) Enszer. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 29, 2012, at Zion Lutheran Church, 1209 Hancock. Rev. Susan Hand will officiate with entombment to follow in Oakwood Mausoleum. Friends may visit with the family at W.L. Case & Company 4480 Mackinaw Rd. on Wednesday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
