Wayne V. McTaggart

Wayne V. McTaggart of Saginaw, Michigan

Our loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022. Age 81 years.

Wayne was born on March 1, 1941, son of the late Eleanor (Achtabowski) and Burnie McTaggart, in Saginaw. Wayne was a graduate of Vassar High School and an All-State Basketball player. He married Sandra Spyker on February 1, 1964. She survives him. Wayne retired from the Saginaw Steering Gear after 30 years of service in Skilled Trades and was a member of U.A.W. Local 699. He enjoyed golfing and was an avid Michigan State fan. Wayne loved his family, animals and grandpups. He always kept a treat stashed away in his pocket for the pups and enjoyed spending time with his family. Wayne was a proud, lifelong Liberal.

Surviving are his loving wife, Sandra; children, Colleen Wiechmann and Mike McTaggart; grandchildren, Whitney (Austin) Valley, Molly McTaggart (Augie Menos), Meghan McTaggart (Scott Beatty); great granddaughter, Shiloh and great grandson, Henry.
