Wayne Alan Evans, Jr. Saginaw, Michigan Our beloved fianc, father and brother, passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2017, age 40 years. He was born on June 21, 1977, son of the late Wayne and Sandra (Schmidt) Evans, Sr., in Hamburg, Germany. Wayne was a graduate of Bridgeport High School, Class of 1995 and attended Delta College. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, camping and tubing. Wayne was a loving father to his sons and enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his fianc, Angela Jennings; his sons, Wayne Evans III and Braydon Evans; his brothers, Nick (Toni) Evans of VA and Joshua (Jenny) Evans of MO, his sister, Stacy (Billy) Gore of FL; his grandfather, Allen Schmidt; also many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his grandmothers, Lois Schmidt and June Towne, his uncles, Carl and Jim Evans; cousins, Cassandra and Alison Evans. Memorial service will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, August 18, 2017, at W. L. Case and Company, 5700 Dixie Highway. Pastor Josh Bernard will officiate. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 p.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers please consider donations to be made to the Wayne Evans Memorial Fund.
