Virginia "Pal" Mae Warner

Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025, at her home, with her family at her side. Age 94 years.

The daughter of the late Herbert and Ilene (Muncey) Taylor, Pal was born on October 16, 1930, in Saginaw, Michigan. She graduated from Arthur Hill High School with the Class of 1948. Pal married Robert Charles Warner on November 18, 1950. He preceded her in death on May 4, 2013. She was a dedicated member of the Episcopal faith throughout her life. She attended St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, contributed to the construction of St. Mark Episcopal Church, and was a current member of St. John Episcopal Church. Pal was a devoted florist at Flowers by Roman. She had a deep passion for arranging flowers and kept herself actively engaged in various hobbies, including crocheting, needlework, and baking.

Surviving are her daughters, Julie Warner (Dan Laitsch), Kelly Warner; grandchildren, Christopher, Jamie, Bobby, Josh, Kia, Kalen, and Dan; twenty-seven great-grandchildren. Besides her husband and her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her son, David Warner; and her grandson, Neil.

Funeral service will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at 4480 Mackinaw Rd, Saginaw, MI 48603. Her grandson, Joshua Holnagel, and family friend, Patrick Gregory will officiate. Honoring Virginia’s wishes, cremation will follow. Friends may visit the family from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday at the funeral chapel. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Humane Society of Saginaw County.
