Virginia married Kenneth Charles McKenna on June 18, 1949 and they were married 60 years before his passing. During her long life she experienced many changes in the world. Her family always came first. Virginia and Ken loved to travel and winter in Florida. She was a 65 year member of Zion Lutheran Church of Saginaw.
Virginia is survived by her daughter Kathi (Michael) Smith, her “baby” brother Raymond (Barbara) Krueger, her “daughter of her heart” Marylou (Robert) Jones, her special nephew Keith (Wendy) McKenna, her dear friend at Wellspring Margaret Winterstein, her beloved caregiver Louis Jiminez and Mark’s son, John McKenna, as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Virginia was predeceased by her husband Ken in 2009 and her son Mark in 2004.
The family would like to thank the staff at Wellspring-especially the health office and Cindy at the front desk for providing such loving care of Virginia over the past four and a half years.
