Passed away at McLaren-Bay Regional Hospital on Monday, July 7, 2014. Age 68 years. Virginia A. Stilwill was born October 15, 1945 in Tuscola County to the late Peter and Mary (Arnold) Stilwill. She married Herman Baldwin on May 7, 1977, and he predeceased her on June 19, 1981. Virginia was a strong-willed, independent-minded woman who felt she could accomplish many things even building her own home. She enjoyed softball, volleyball, and bowling. Surviving are two daughters, Heidi J. Wheeler and Wendy J. Baldwin (Ayala); seven grandchildren, Andrew Wheeler, Eric Wheeler, Tiffany Sankey, Keyton Turmell, Nastassja Ayala, Miranda Ayala, and Brooklyn Pamame; four great-grandchildren, RaineLin Baldwin, TracieLin Baldwin, Michael Baldwin, and Summer Wheeler; two brothers and two sisters, Dean (Andre Kent) Stilwill, Delbert Stilwill, Beverly Stilwill, and Kathleen (Al) Kern; and several nieces and nephews. Virginia also leaves a very close family friend, Evelyn Wheeler. She was predeceased by a son, David Carl Sankey, and a sister, Joyce Stilwill. In accordance with Virginia's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 26, 2014, at United Family Fellowship Center, 211 Fraser, Kawkawlin, Michigan. Pastor David Valley will officiate.
