Victor Roland Garcia, Jr.

Loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend passed away on  Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at Avista Nursing and Rehab in Bridgeport, Michigan, at the age of 65. Victor was born on June 1^st, 1957, in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, to the late Christina Moore. Victor spent his working years as a security guard for his sister’s company, and as a mechanic who served his community for over 30 years, working on cars and motorcycles. He had a special love of motorcycles, especially Harleys. He also loved hunting; his wish was to have his ashes scattered in the woods that he loved spending so much time in. Victor is remembered as being a gruff if stubborn man who was outspoken but who had a soft spot for kids, especially his nephews.

Victor is survived by his daughter Debra (Steve) Weaver; grandchildren Elise Weaver & Steven Weaver, Jr.’ sister Christina Zolinski; special nephews Steve Munger, Brian Zolinski, Christopher Zolinski, Tim Imm, and Allen Imm; special nieces Brianna Zientek and Elisabeth Gaus; and special friend Connie Cook; as well as many other nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and friends.

Victor was preceded in death by sister Debra (Floyd) Munger; Niece Angie Munger; and many close friends.

A funeral service for Victor will be held at 4:00pm on Monday, April 3^rd, 2023, at W.L. Case & Company, 5700 Dixie Highway, Saginaw, with Rev. Rob Richards presiding. Visitation will take place at the funeral home from 1:00pm until the time of service, with cremation to follow.
