Our loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 25, 2022. Age 55 years.

Vicky was born on March 7, 1967, daughter of the late Dorothy (Dawkins) and Wilford Booker, in Saginaw. The family moved to Arkansas, where she attended school and graduated from Bradley High School, Class of 1985. Vicky then moved back to Saginaw, met and married the love of her life, James Rico, Sr. in April of 1998. She enjoyed working in the health field for many dedicated years of service. Her passion was helping others at their time of need. She was always full of joy and laughter. Her presence would light up the room!

Vicky will be dearly missed by her husband, James Rico, Sr.; children, Ashley Rico and James Rico, Jr.; granddaughter that she loved and adored, AuBri Barnes; her best friends that she loved as sisters and brothers, Kathy Primas-Morris, the Hood Family, Darlaine Blackmon-Green, Curtis and Charles Finch, Sr.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to the Rico and Salceo families, Close to Home Nursing Home, Covenant VNA Hospice, Covenant Healthcare.

Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at W. L. Case and Company, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Elder Jerry Morris will officiate with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
