Versie Mae Jumper passed away on February 10, 2026, in Saginaw, Michigan, at the age of 94. Born on August 20, 1931, in Corinth, Mississippi to Tom and Daisy (Spence) Jumper, Versie lived a life filled with devotion.

Versie was a true homebody with a good heart, finding joy in the simple pleasures of life. Her commitment to her faith was evident in her regular attendance at Corinthian Baptist Church. She found solace and strength in her spirituality, which guided her throughout her life.

Versie is survived by countless nieces, nephews, extended family and friends that will carry on her memory.

Versie is predeceased by her parents; Brothers and their spouses W.T (Roberta) Jumper, Thomas L. (Louella) Jumper, and Troy Lee Jumper; and sister and her spouse, Edna B. (John) Sledd.

A funeral service will take place at 11:00 am Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Corinthian Baptist Church, 104 S. 10th Street, Saginaw. Pastor Roy Manning will officiate. Friends may visit the family on Thursday, February 19, 2026 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Versie will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Cemetery following the service.
