Versie Mae Jumper passed away on February 10, 2026, in Saginaw, Michigan, at the age of 94. Born on August 20, 1930, in Corinth, Mississippi to Tom and Daisy (Spence) Jumper, Versie lived a life filled with devotion.

Versie was a true homebody with a good heart, finding joy in the simple pleasures of life. Her commitment to her faith was evident in her regular attendance at Corinthian Baptist Church. She found solace and strength in her spirituality, which guided her throughout her life.

Versie is survived by countless nieces, nephews, extended family and friends that will carry on her memory.

Versie is predeceased by her parents; Brothers and their spouses W.T (Roberta) Jumper, Thomas L. (Louella) Jumper, and Troy Lee Jumper; and sister and her spouse, Edna B. (John) Sledd.

A funeral service will take place Friday, February 20, 2026, at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Home, 4480 Mackinaw Road, Saginaw. Friends may visit the family on Friday, February 20, 2026 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. A private service will follow.
