Dankert, Troy Eric Chesaning, MI Passed away suddenly on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at the age of 41 years. Troy was born on September 19, 1973 in Saginaw. He served in the U.S. Navy. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Troy also enjoyed time spent with his family. Surviving are his father, Frederick Dankert, siblings: Christopher Dankert, Heath Dankert, Ryan (Davina) Dankert, Dana (John David) Dankert, Tiffany Dankert, 3 nieces, 2 nephews, his grandmother; Delores Dankert and many other relatives and dear friends. Troy was predeceased by his mother, Sharon (Koepplinger) Dankert, sister, Paula Dankert, grandparents: Arnold "Bud" and Pearl Koepplinger, and Roger Dankert. Funeral service will take place at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 1, 2015, at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 5700 Dixie Highway. Burial will take place at a later date in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, MI. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral services.
