Passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at the age of 78 years.

The son of the late Clarence and Marie (Beitel) Donovan was born in Norway, MI on June 16, 1944.  He graduated from Holy Rosary High School, the class of 1962.  Tim then graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Saginaw Valley University, then a masters from Central Michigan University.  He served in the U.S. Airforce.  He retired from Saginaw Public Schools, North Middle School.  Tim also was the baseball coach.  He enjoyed cooking, belonging to a cooking club and competing locally, winning many WSGW cooking competitions.  He also enjoyed cycling, reading, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

Surviving are his brother Tom (Carol) Donovan, nieces: Joanne (Tim) Bovich, Christine (Adam Weems) Donovan, several great-nieces and great-nephew Betsy (Greg) Bovich Lee, Maddie Bovich, Stuart Bovich, Alec (Morgan) Holm and many other relatives and friends. 

A Celebration of life will take place from 1:00 pm until 5:00 p.m. Friday, August 5, 2022 at the
W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd.  In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the East Side Soup Kitchen.  Interment will take place in Tim’s home town of Norway, MI at a later date.
