Timothy Walter Thon Merrill, Michigan Passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2018, age 70 years. He was born on February 21, 1947, son of the late Walter and Elizabeth (Streb) Thon, in Saginaw. Tim farmed all his life. He enjoyed auctioning, working on his tractors and equipment. He loved his dog and best friend, Champ. Tim will be missed by his brother, Gary Thon; nephew, Ryan Thon; niece, Bonnie Thon; also many cousins and their families. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at W. L. Case and Company, 125 E. Saginaw in Merrill. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Monday, January 22, 2018 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
