Beloved husband, father, grandfather and son passed away on October 21, 2019. He was 72 years old. Tom was born on April 6, 1947 in Saginaw, MI to Richard and Marjorie (Morrison) Leidlein. He was a 1965 graduate of St. Peter and Paul High School. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1966-1968. Tom married Sue Peters on October 18, 1968; she predeceased him on February 3, 2003. He married Ann (Keller) Grubich on September 17, 2006. He worked many years as a branch manager of an electrical supply company, retiring in 2009. Tom enjoyed babysitting his grandchildren, camping and golfing. He was very social, had a beautiful personality and made friends with everyone he met, he never met a stranger. Surviving are his wife, Ann Leidlein; two children, Tom II Leidlein and Anne (Tommy) Kowalski; three step-children, Brian (Nickie) Grubich, Nathan (Amanda) Grubich and Leah Thomas; 12 grandchildren, Bradley, Allie, Carson, Porter, Hudson, Morgan, Mattie, Eli, Poppy, Griffin and Isa; his mother, Marjorie Leidlein; and five siblings, Dick (Gerry), Pam, Bob (Margie), Kathy and Pat (Kelly). Tom is predeceased by his father, Richard Leidlein; a brother, Jim Leidlein; and a grandchild, Mackenzie. A funeral liturgy will be held at 11 AM on Friday, October 25, 2019 at St. Dominic Parish Ss. Peter and Paul Church, 4735 W. Michigan Ave, Saginaw. Rev. Fr. Steve Gavit will officiate with rite of commital to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family from 2-5 and 6-8 PM with a vigil service starting at 7 PM on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at W. L. Case and Company, 4480 Mackinaw Rd, Saginaw.
