Thomas “TK” Edward Kennedy of Hemlock, Michigan

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Sunday, October 25, 2026. He was 72 years old. Thomas Edward Kennedy was born on October 6, 1954, in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late Wyman T. and Emily (Dvorak) Kennedy. He was a proud 1972 graduate of Hemlock High School. He spent his entire career as parts manager for GM Dealerships. Tom was always happy to help friends and family with their car problems. In 2003, he married Jackie Frost and together they built their dream home where they loved hosting family and friends. Tom made many friends along the way and once you were his friend, you were in his thoughts until the very end, evidenced by the many that attended his “cashing out” parties. Along with Jackie came two kids that couldn’t have gained a better stepdad, Jeff (Amanda) Jacobs and Lisa (Jess) Ciesielski; until five little angels came along and stole his heart, Lydia, Lucy, and Drew Jacobs and Lillian and Zane Reichle. They hit the jackpot to have Tom as their grandpa, and they made his life complete.

Tom is survived by his wife, Jackie; sisters, Joyce (Terry) Crevia and Judy Jolly; brother, Bob (Barb) Watson. His youngest brother, Dan, was waiting for him in heaven.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Heartland Hospice nurses, especially Ashley and Audrey who always made him laugh.

A funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 30, 2026, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1035 N. River Road, Saginaw, MI 48609. Honoring Tom’s wishes, cremation will follow the service. Friends are welcome to visit at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 201 N. Miller Rd., Saginaw, MI 48609 on Thursday, October 29, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tom will lie in state at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Cure PSP.
