Loving husband, wonderful father, grandfather and great-grandfather, brother and friend, passed away on July 14, 2025, at his home at the age of 79 years. Tom was born on July 03, 1946, in Flint, MI to the late Ethel (Rye) Renner and Roy (Geraldine) Renner. He married the love of his life, Gail Quackenbush on August 5, 1967, in Fosters, MI. Tom worked as a truck driver for the Saginaw County Road Commission, retiring after 38 years of dedicated service. He attended First Baptist Church in Bridgeport. He enjoyed watching his grandson race, hunting and fishing, going to his cabin on Secord Lake and riding the pontoon with his family, and spending time with his beloved dog and companion, Taffy. His loving and caring nature allowed him to be a father figure to several people who didn't have fathers of their own and he was affectionately called 'grandpa' by all the neighborhood children.
Tom is survived by his beloved wife Gail Renner; three children: Wendy (Tim) Leeck, Tom (Carrie) Renner, and Bryan Renner; grandchildren: Daniel (Jessica) Leeck, Thomas (Eve) Renner, Elizabeth (Shane) Cuneaz, Bradley (Rebecca) Broughman, Caitlynn (Trent Seorum) Renner, Jacob (Katelyn) Woodward, Matthew (Kayla) Leeck, Nathan Renner, Hunter Leeck, Gabrielle Renner, Jordan Bingham Jason Contreras, and Nathan Contreras,; and 14 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his brother, Roy Renner, brother and great friend that he did everything with, Robert (Penny) Harris, half-brothers and sisters: Greg (Mary) Harris, Shelly Renner, Kelly Renner, Gerri Mae Renner, Roy Renner III, as well as other half-brothers and sisters; special nephew Tom (Tammy) Brady and special nieces Rebecca and Jennifer Lavrack; a very special sister-in-law Jerilyn (Brian) Lutz; good friends Larry Monore and Ken Chapdelaine; as well as many other special nieces, nephews, and friends.
