Beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Covenant HealthCare Harrison; at the age of 72 years. The son of the late Cleophis “Red” and Essie (Bartig) Metcalf was born on April 27, 1947 in Saginaw, Michigan. Tom retired after many years of service from Eaton Manufacturing. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Above all, he cherished the time spent with his family.

Surviving are a daughter: Ashley Oster; two grandchildren: Jake and Alli Oster; and a sister: Nola (Jim) Hale. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and extended family. Thomas was preceded in death by a brother: Dennis Metcalf; and a sister: Barbara Dungey.

Memorial service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 125 E. Saginaw Street, Merrill. Honoring Tom’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends may visit the family from 11:00 a.m. till the time of service at the funeral chapel.
