Thomas M. Hebl Saginaw, Michigan Our beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2017, age 67 years. He was born on October 13, 1949, son of the late Frank and Arletta (Korbein) Hebl, in Saginaw. Thomas served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from the Saginaw Steering Gear after many years of service and was a member of U.A.W. Local #699. He enjoyed bowling and watching Detroit Red Wings Hockey. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and were very active in their lives. Thomas is survived by his children, Matthew (Lisa) Hebl of Arizona, Heidi Hebl, Sarah (James) Branch and Gretchen Hebl; his grandchildren, Mark, Megan and Dakota Hebl, Briana Hebl, Daymeon and Izabella Hebl-Evans, James Branch II; one great grandchild, Lavontae Phillips; his brothers and sisters, Kathleen Schlueter of Florida, Jerry (Caroline) Hebl of Prudenville, David (Pam) Hebl, Kristine (Charles) Schuch. He was predeceased by his siblings, Donald Hebl, Barbara Helpap, JoAnn Mersdorf, Lois Hebl, Robert Hebl and Richard Hebl. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 2110 Brockway. Pastor Tim Bender will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family at W. L. Case and Company 5700 Dixie Hwy, on Monday, April 17, 2017 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
