Beloved father, son, brother, and friend passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 16, 2026. Age 51 years.

The son of Sarah Denise (DelValle) Huell and the late Thomas Ira Huell, Sr, Tom was born on September 4, 1974, in Saginaw, Michigan. He was a proud graduate of Carrollton High School. He worked as a leadman at Niles Industrial Coating and was known for his strong work ethic and dedication. A proud union member, he valued both his work and those around him. Tom was a skilled communicator, making complex roofing work easy to understand by putting it into relatable terms. Honest and direct, he was a straight shooter, people always knew where they stood, but beneath it was a kind and caring heart. Over time, he grew into a man with clear perspective and little patience for a lack of common sense. Tom remained deeply committed to his work. He loved dogs and had a natural way with them, earning a reputation as a true “dog whisperer.” Tom enjoyed westerns and rarely missed The Good Guys at Sunrise on Saturday mornings, and watching UFC fights on Saturday nights. He also enjoyed cooking and liked to experiment in the kitchen, often creating his own recipes.

Surviving are his son, Gabriel Thomas Buitron; mother, Sarah Denise Huell; sister, Megan Marie Huell; very dear brothers, Librado “Lee” Perez, Alan “Alley Cat” Ostrander; nephew, Owen Ostrander; aunts, Delia Mills, Lisa DelValle, Chloe DelValle (Eliseo Vasquez-Landin); cousins, Neil (Melissa) Munson, Jon (Maria) Munson, Jenevieve Munson; his bonus children, Christopher Hill, Jailynn Hill; and very dear family friend, Raymond Buitron; special friends, Robert “Bob” Coats and Robert “Buck” Parham. Also surviving are many extended family members and friends. Besides his father, Tom was preceded in death by his grandmother, Matiana “Mena” DelValle; and infant cousin, Gregory E. DelValle.

Visitation will take place at 2:00 p.m. until the time of sharing on Friday, July 10, 2026, at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Rd, Saginaw, MI 48603. Time of Sharing will take place at 4:30 p.m. on Friday at the funeral chapel.
