Terry Thomas Kenel

Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved husband, father, grandfather passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at Henry Ford Hospital, with his family at his side; at the age of 76 years.

The son of the late Herbert and Betty (Thomas) Kenel, Terry was born on January 9, 1947, in Saginaw, Michigan. He met and married the love of his life, Sandra Taylor on August 15, 1964; she survives him. Terry was an electrician until he retired from Saginaw Steering Gear. He was a proud member of Tri-City Wood Carvers. Terry was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. His role of a lifetime was being a loving grandpa, and attending all of their sporting events. Above all, Terry cherished the time spent with his family and beloved dog, Peanut.

Surviving besides his wife: Sandy Kenel; are their son, daughter and their spouses: Matthew and Kelly Kenel, Holly and Jason Klein; Mark (Angie) Kenel, Brad (fiancé Maddie) Kenel, Colton Klein, Kayla Leo; sister: Shirley Walters; sisters-in-law: Tracy Taylor, Terri Kenel; and special friend: June Leddy. Besides his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his brother: Gary Kenel.

Honoring Terry’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N.
