Tanner N. Wiechmann

On October 16, 1996, Tanner N. Wiechmann was born to Jennifer Lee Rappuhn (Wiechmann). He lived in Hemlock, then moved to Grand Blanc where he graduated from Goodrich High School with the class of 2015. In 2010 Tanner gained a dad in Ken Rappuhn and three siblings: Kenny, Kyle, and Mackenzie Rappuhn. He worked construction for a time before falling into a sales role where he showed a natural talent and a “gift for gab,” making himself an integral part of his Mid-State Bolt & Screw family. Tanner enjoyed spending time at the cottage with his family, hunting in Standish with his uncles and being with his cousins. Tanner was one of a kind and never met a dog that didn’t love him. If anyone asked for help, Tanner was right there. He had a passion for speed and was an “absolute demon” on the ski hill. Tanner was active in many sports, especially with the football teams that became a brotherhood, and his presence will always be linked to #PartyAtTanners. His family will forever cherish the memory of his beautiful sparkling eyes, his beaming smile, infectious laugh, and huge dimples. Tanner’s family was so happy that he found love and talked of building a family of his own.

Tanner leaves his parents Jennifer and Ken Rappuhn; siblings Kenny and Amy Rappuhn, Kyle and Jordan Rappuhn and Mackenzie (Matt) Rappuhn; Grammy Diane Dudley; Papa Bill and Grandma Peggy Wiechmann; aunts and uncles: Eileen Koutny, Bill and Connie Wiechmann, Dan and Kristi Wiechmann, and Fred and Stephanie Rappuhn; cousins Whitney Valley, Caine Wiechmann, Chase Wiechmann, Willow Wiechmann, Savannah Rappuhn, and Connor Rappuhn; and nephew and niece KJ & Millie Rappuhn; as well as many, many friends.

Tanner is greeted in his new heavenly home by uncle Glenn Koutny, grandma Barb Rappuhn, and his beloved dog Spur.

Tanner’s family would urge everyone to remember that you are not alone. If you are struggling, reach out to family, friends, or the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline at 988.
