Sue passed on this day, Saturday, December 19, 2020. She joins her youngest daughter, Jennifer & those who went on before her, who are dearly missed. Suzanne Louise Chinery (Sue) was born in Saginaw, Michigan on April 5th, 1948 to Samuel and Louise Chinery. She was an only child. Sue enjoyed a loving and long marriage of 50 years to James (Jim) Blue.
Sue is survived by her devoted husband, Jim, her nine grandchildren, McKenzie, Madison, Zackary, Morganah, Haley, Stella Rose, Colten, Owen & Emmy, their parents & her remaining children, Kyle Blue, his wife, Chrissy and her oldest daughter, Amanda.
Sue lived a full life, having traveled much of the United States by road, with her husband, who was a secondary educator, having summers off, then also with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed the outdoors, having spent a lot of her young life, on the AuSable River in Grayling, MI. Later in life, the whole family enjoyed camping all over the state together and ultimately, the lasting couple chose Ludington, MI as their retirement “home away from home.” Lake Michigan was always her favorite of The Great Lakes. Sue worked for and retired from Covenant Healthcare as a bookkeeper, having been with the Gift Shop, since St. Luke’s Guild was in service. She always had a houseful of animals, which she doted on. Having had 10+ canines over the years, she swore she would never have a cat in the house, to which she’s leaving behind three, plus two dogs. She always enjoyed people. Her Thanksgiving table was regularly diverse. Sue will surely and dearly be missed by all who knew and loved her, but we can be rest assured she no longer suffers and is with our dearly departed.
Please help us celebrate her life through passing by remembering Ecclesiastes 3:1,
