Susan Joy Deyarmond, age 80, of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away at her home on Wednesday, October 22, 2025.

Susan was born in Saginaw, Michigan on April 25, 1945, the daughter of the late Robert and Helen (Schain) Roethlisberger. She attended Arthur Hill High School. She enjoyed gardening, going to the casino, and playing bingo. She loved spending time with her family and going to her grandchildren’s sporting events.

Susan was married to Marvin D. Deyarmond on February 10, 1989. He preceded her in death on March 27, 1998.

Susan is survived by two sons: Rob (Odeta) Spitz and Mike Spitz, and eight grandchildren: Jenna (Benjamin) Marta, Calan Spitz, Ashley (John) Carr, Elizabeth (Donald) Cotterman, Aili Ollila, Taylor (Alex) Stemer, Rylee (fiancé Logan Fisher) Spitz, Miranda Spitz, and eight great-grandchildren. Susan is also survived by her sister Donna Reed, brother Jim (Patti) Roethlisberger, sister-in-law Kris Roethlisberger, many nieces and nephews, and six step-children and their families.

She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Helen Roethlisberger, her late husband Marvin Deyarmond, daughter Kristine Ollila, brother Terry Roethlisberger, and brother-in-law Robert Reed.

Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Rd, Saginaw, MI 48603, where the funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, October 27, 2025. Pastor Craig Moore will officiate the service, with interment to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
