Our loving mother, grandmother and sister passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2022. Age 71 years.

Suellen was born on December 15, 1950, daughter of the late Patricia (Fox) and Duane Auten, in Athens, Michigan.  She retired from Covenant Healthcare as a Lab Technician, after many dedicated years of service. She found great joy in writing her lab journal, which she had shared with many of her colleagues and received multiple awards for. Suellen was a selfless woman and loved unconditionally. She took care of everyone else before herself. Suellen loved musicals and listening to “Rat Pack” music. She enjoyed the outdoors gardening and golfing and had always been athletic.

Suellen will be missed by her daughters, Patricia Schobert, Diana Schobert and Allison Parker; grandchildren, Violet Lorenz, Noah, Lily and Grace Schobert and Marcellis Auten; and her sister, Carolyn Howes. She was predeceased by her sister, Ann Mazur.

A Memorial Service will take place at 6:00 p.m., on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at W. L. Case and Company, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Friends may visit with the family at the Chapel from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
