Steven "Steve" Root
of Saginaw, MI
Beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend passed away on January 16, 2021 at the age of 67 years.
Steve was born on October 13, 1953 in Saginaw, MI to parents late Wesley and Dorothy (Andrews) Root.
Steve's favorite past-times include hunting, fishing, playing horseshoes, spending time with his children and grandchildren. He loved helping people.
Steven is survived by two sons, Michael (Christiann) Root of Sanford, MI and Craig (Kaleigh) Root of Brant, MI; two grandchildren, Elizabeth and Beckam; a brother, Jeffrey (Debbie) Root of St. Petersburg FL; a sister, Lori Harless of Saginaw, MI; as well as many very close friends.
A visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm on Thursday, January 21, 2021, at W. L. Case & Company, 201 N. Miller Rd., Saginaw. Casual attire is appreciated. Honoring Steve's wishes cremation will follow. Pursuant to current state executive orders, building capacity is limited, face masks are required and social distancing encouraged. We appreciate everyone's efforts to mitigate the spread of covid-19 in our community.
