Shirley M. Wiles

Our loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, March 23, 2021. Age 80 years.

Shirley was born on May 26, 1940, daughter of the late Anna (Churneftsky) and Michael Slancik, in Saginaw. She married Garold Wiles, he predeceased her on August 8, 1980. Shirley retired from Tender Care Nursing Home after 30 years of service. She was an avid Detroit Tigers Fan, enjoyed traveling and spending time at Silver Lake in Angola, IN with her companion Al Haswell. Shirley adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren and loved spending time with her family.

Shirley will be missed by her daughters, Cathy McKissack and Michelle (Tim) Konsdorf; grandchildren, Michael McKissack, Nicole (Michael Bengston) Konsdorf and Ashley (Mason) Edlund; great grandchildren, Avery Bengston, Brooklyn McKissack, Nash and Quinn Edlund; sister, Sally Fries and sisters-in-law, Jean, Brenda and Sandy Slancik; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Betty (Charles) Schulz, Rosemary (Charles) Frick, Ronald (Connie) Slancik, James (Pat) Slancik, Robert, William, Richard and John Slancik, Ronald Fries and Al Haswell.
