Passed away on January 11, 2021 at Pioneer Specialty Hospital at the age of 89 years.
Shirley was born on November 02, 1931 in Saginaw, MI to the late Eli Clements and Frieda (Mohr) Splatt.
She attended Chicago Floral Arts School and worked as a Floral Designer.
Shirley is survived by a daughter, Kelly Durkacy-Somerfield of Saginaw, MI; grandchildren and their spouses/significant others, Jeremy and Jessica Schmidt, Todd Schmidt and Pam Sette, Brendon Somerfield, and Sean Madden and Scarlett Meszaros; and three great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Lori Madden, and son-in-law, Dean Somerfield.
Honoring Shirley's wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 6, 2021, at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, St. Helen Church, 2445 North Charles St. Saginaw. Rev. Fr. Baltha Raj will officiate. Friends may visit with the family at the church from 12:00 noon until the time of service.
