Sharon Kay Stadler, age 74, of Merrill, Michigan, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2026. Sharon was born on March 6, 1951, the daughter of the late Fred and Mabel (Tinglan) Gohsman.
Sharon received her early education at Vassar High School, graduating with the class of 1969. She went on to Central Michigan University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in education. Before embarking on her journey as a devoted mother, Sharon worked as a teacher, shaping young minds with her passion for learning and her deep commitment to education.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Sharon found joy in various hobbies. She was an avid reader and had a profound love for swimming. The warmth of the sun and the sound of the ocean brought her great contentment, and she cherished the time spent with her husband, Leonard, in Panama City Beach, Florida, where they created countless treasured memories.
Sharon is survived by her beloved children, Kari Stadler, Lisa Stadler, John (Tiffany) Stadler, and Phillip Stadler; three grandchildren, Alex, Andy, and Jacob Stadler; her siblings, Robert Gohsman, Carol (George) Miller, Tery Gohsman, and Mike (Cindy) Gohsman, along with her sister-in-law, Pat Gohsman; and many nieces and nephews.
Sharon is predeceased by her loving husband, Leonard Stadler, whose companionship she cherished deeply, as well as her parents, Fred and Mabel (Tinglan) Gohsman.
In honor of Sharon’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will not be a service.
