Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2026. Age 83 years.
The daughter of the late Michael and Lillian (Trahan) Pasterz, Sharon was born on September 9, 1943, in Saginaw, Michigan. She graduated from Saginaw High School, with the class of 1962. Sharon married William Moeller on July 28, 1962. He preceded her in death on November 22, 2025. Sharon was a devoted member at St. John XXIII Parish, St. Mary Catholic Church. She was active with the Hemlock Senior Luncheon. Sharon enjoyed trips to the casino and going shopping. Above all, Sharon cherished the time spent with her family, especially at gatherings.
Surviving are her children and their spouses, David (Melinda) Moeller, Deborah (Bill) Bryant, DeLisa Krueger, Douglas (Cheryl) Moeller, Donald (Jeanne) Moeller, and DeLaura Moeller; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Bonnie Rick, Margaret “Peggy” Pasterz; sister-in-law, Patricia Schumacher; and friends, Don and Mary Ann DeRop, Jim and Joanne Willis. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Besides her husband and her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her brother, Michael “Butch” Pasterz; son-in-law, Christopher Krueger; brother-in-law, Arthur Rick, Sr.; and her best friend, Ruth Milbrandt.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Amber Hospice at Optalis Health & Rehabilitation and Wellspring Lutheran Services - Saginaw, especially Emily and Heidi, for their kind and compassionate care for Sharon.
Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 25, 2026, at St. John XXIII Parish, St. Mary Catholic Church, 151 St. Mary Dr, Hemlock, MI 48626. Rev. Fr. Sunil Kumar Pallela will officiate with burial to follow at St. Mary Cemetery. Friends may visit the family from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 201 N. Miller Rd, Saginaw, MI 48609, and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of mass on Friday at the church. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. John XXIII Parish, St. Mary Catholic Church.
