Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister went home to the Lord on Tuesday, February 14, 2017, at the age of 73 years. Sharon was born October 29, 1943, in Watsonville, California to Ethel (Lewis/Duby) Daly and the late Bernard Duby. She married Jerry McLaren on April 28, 1962; he predeceased her in 2005. She worked for Covenant Healthcare for over 33 years. She loved playing cards, doing crossword puzzles, genealogy, crocheting, and watching reality TV. Besides her mother, she will be missed by her children: Katherine McLaren Kolb, Jerry (Mindy Mytko) McLaren Jr., Mary (Jody) Clark, Jeffrey (Trudyann) McLaren; grandchildren, Kristi (Andrew), Tabitha (Justin), Joshua, Ashley, Thomas (Sara), Jennifer (Eddy), Carrie, Cody, Casey, Jeffrey Jr.; great-grandchildren, Isla, Tyler, Abbigayle, Hunter, Dominic, Nickolas Jr., Hannah, Aria, Spencer; siblings, Brenda McLaren, Thressa Zolton, William (Valerie) Daly Jr., Mary (Thomas) Anklam, Timothy Daly, David (Robin) Daly; special family friend, Sandy Sherbino-Boyer, who was like a daughter; and beloved dog Scrappy. She was predeceased by her daughter, Barbara McLaren; grandson, Joe Batts Jr.; brother-in-law, Dale McLaren; and step-father, William Daly Sr. Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 18, 2017, at St. John XXIII Parish, St. Mary Catholic Church 151 St. Mary Drive in Hemlock. Fr. Dennis Kucharczyk will officiate with burial to follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at W.L. Case & Company 201 N.
