Beloved mother, grandmother and friend passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2022, at Edgewood Assisted Living Center, with her family by her side. Age 84 years.

The daughter of the late Robert and Mary (Stoll) Tupes, Sharon was born on October 20, 1938 in Saginaw, Michigan. She graduated from Arthur Hill High School with the class of 1956. Sharon attended Michigan State University. It was there she met her loving husband, James, whom she married in 1960. He preceded Sharon in death in 2006. Sharon was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church, as well as a member of the Junior League of Saginaw, Saginaw Women’s National Farm and Garden Association, and the Saginaw Culture Club. She enjoyed traveling and entertaining. Above all, Sharon cherished the time spent with her family and loved ones.

Surviving are her son and daughter: James Kaylor, Jennifer Kaylor; grandchildren: Lauren Kaylor, and Trevor Kaylor. Also surviving are many cousins, nieces, nephew, extended family and friends.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to The Care Team Hospice, especially Nicole, for their kind and compassionate care of Sharon.

Private family services have taken place. The Rev. Curt Norman and The Rev. Pam Renna officiated with burial at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the charity of their choice.
