Sharon Lee DeShone, age 83, of Kochville Township, passed away on July 2, 2026. Sharon was born on September 1, 1942, in Saginaw, Michigan.
Sharon graduated from Arthur Hill High School, class of 1959. She was united in marriage with her loving husband, Ronald Thomas DeShone, on April 25, 1964. Together they raise three children. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. Once her children were all grown, she started Day and Night Cleaning Service, which she has faithfully owned and operated since 2000. She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Saginaw.
Sharon loved spending time in her garden and canning fruits and vegetables. She also enjoyed baking and sewing. Sharon loved to do arts and crafts, and she enjoyed painting. She would often make homemade Christmas gifts for family and friends. Sharon was an animal lover and enjoyed time with her dogs, Lily and Willow.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Ronald DeShone; three children James (Diana) DeShone, Catherine (Richard) Baillie, and Melissa Bottke; nine grandchildren, Jamie Lynn (Drew), Seth, Stephanie (Bob), Sean, Tiffinie (Eric), Amy (Jeff), Kenny, Tyler, Caleb; six step-grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters, Sandy Henninger, Rudina Parcher, Susan Lopez; brother-in-law, Richard DeShone; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Delores and Marty White; father and stepmother, Rudolph and Elsie Wenzel; two grandchildren, Chasidy and Rebecka; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Thomas and Erna DeShone.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Sharon’s brother-in-law, Richard DeShone, who volunteers for the Kochville Fire Department and was the first on the scene.
Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Rd, Saginaw, MI 48603. The funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at Bethany Lutheran Church, 505 McCarty Rd, Saginaw, MI 48603, where friends may visit with the family from 10:30 a.m. until time of the service. Rev. Mike Nitz will officiate the service and interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider Bethany Lutheran Church.
