Of Florence, KY formerly of Saginaw, MI

Passed away unexpectedly on December 23, 2019. He was 44 years old. Scott was born on July 6, 1975 to Adrian and Nancy (Dungs) Barnes in Pontiac, MI. He worked as a railroad engineer for CSX for 19 years. Scott enjoyed electronics, computing, sound systems, gaming, and music. He was always very generous with his time and willing to help his friends when in need.

Scott is survived by his parents; a brother, David (Lisa) Barnes; niece, Claire and nephew, Joshua; Uncle Gene and Aunt Ella; Aunt Cheryl and Uncle Earnest; Aunt Denise and Uncle Gordie; and many beloved cousins. He is predeceased by his grandparents.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, December 30, 2019 at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 2110 Brockway Road, Saginaw. Rev. Kathleen Basner will officiate. Honoring Scotts wishes, cremation will take place after the service. Friends may visit with the family from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at W. L. Case & Company, 4480 Mackinaw Road, Saginaw, as well as at the church on Monday from 10:00 am until the time of service.
