Sara C. Stewart Hemlock, Michigan Our sister in Christ went to be with God on January 22, 2018, at the age of 66 years. Sara was born July 5, 1951, in Syracuse, New York to the late John and Carolyn (Courtenay) Stewart. She worked for 22 years at Johnson Carbide. She was active at Beacon of Hope Church and will be missed by her church family. Sara will fondly be remembered for her love of animals, her quiet and unassuming nature, and her generous heart. She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Becky (Donna Jean) Stewart; grandson, Brandon Stewart; brother, Jon (Missy) Stewart; nephews and nieces, Jonathan, Stephanie, Molly, and Tristan; and her partner of 30 years, Rosalie Kay Petty. According to her wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on her birthday at Beacon of Hope Church.
